There are lessons to be learned
By Dorottya Török on 3 February, 2010
The trainee is a quite special workforce if we take a closer look. The trainee is not only doing the job and going home after it, the trainee plans to change the world with every single task. This post is not meant to be a big teaching on life and stuff, just a small summary of my useful (for me definitely) experiences on how corporate life is working and how I function as a trainee.

“The Magic 3”: Amazing end for 2009 - great start for 2010
By Katalin Mester on 21 January, 2010
First of all- Happy new year to everyone! I could not have imagined that I can face so many new things in the “working life”: new people, new approaches, more and more knowledge, great personal experience… everything that a trainee could wish! I am very happy and really satisfied with my situation, but now I will write you about my dilemmas I am thinking about nowadays.

Mamma Mia, here I go again
By Zsófia Navratil on 17 December, 2009
Morning: standing on lectern, presenting the revenue forecast of Pannon for the next year. Evening: dancing on stage as one of the girlfriends of Sophie from Mamma Mia. Apart from how stressful both the situations are, there are also some other similarities between them. The audience consists of Pannon workers both times. Lots of them. And our Management Board, of course.

By Dorottya Török on 27 November, 2009
What is the value of getting to know the industry? What is the value of being able to see everything and to learn whatever you can? What is the value of being able to discover new limits of yourself? Simply said: what is the value of being a trainee? Well, the answer is simple: it is priceless!

The Teletubbies are back in town
By Zsófia Navratil on 12 November, 2009
I just started to work for PandA a week ago. The first day was okay, but on my very second day they made me dress up like a Teletubby! We went out to the wild to build and paint a hut on a river bank, while it was raining cats and dogs. And you’re sooo wrong if you think I’m just kidding!

Balancing life
By Dorottya Török on 2 November, 2009
They say when you are a trainee you really got to be as flexible as possible so you can adapt to everyone and to every situation. In this process it can be quite helpful if you possess many useful traits. This entry is about my journey to reach to the conclusion on how I best can mix my best qualities most successfully.
Work the way it fits your life – and enjoy the nice view!
By Zsófia Navratil on 14 October, 2009
Now I’ve spent a little more than a month working for Pannon, and I don’t have time to feel bored at all. Introductions, training, meetings and on top of that: working on both local and global projects. You could ask how I manage all these tasks, but it’s not that hard at all. Okay, maybe it would be in another organisation, but in Pannon… Pannon really helps you perform your best!

The “green” house effect on our Way of Work
By Dorottya Török on 2 October, 2009
In my last entry I posted a picture about the new Pannon house, but I didn’t write too much about it. Well this post is going to be all about the new house, since last week, in Pannon, was all about our new headquarters too.

Change & challenge
By Katalin Mester on 24 September, 2009
My real first impression was: “WOW”… when I realised how much professional work, power and resources are invested in this programme by Telenor, I really understood what I had applied for and how lucky I am to be a part of the trainee programme. Such an atmosphere can motivate everyone to improve!
A good first impression is a great part of success
By Zsófia Navratil on 23 September, 2009
No, I’m not going to tell you wise and empty phrases. In fact this sentence is anything but empty. Anybody who is newcomer to an organisation should be aware of the fact, that he/she is being judged based on a few moments’ impressions. We walk around, talk, eat, do our presentations or just sit quietly in the corner, and a lot of people will have opinions about us in no time.
