Re-loaded with energy for new challenges and tasks

2008 has started off at Fornebu and it feels good to start working after a 10-days long holiday. However, it was great relaxing and celebrating Christmas with friends and family home in Oslo!  

Unavoidable New Years resolution – structure my PC-documents!

I did not think too much about my current projects during the holiday and I am re-loaded with energy for new challenges and tasks.  I made an (unavoidably) New Years resolution to get my pc-documents structured in folders. My first days at work in 2008 have therefore consisted of structuring along with continuing with the project started before Christmas. 

Lots of travelling – first stop Kuala Lumpur

As Niklas mentioned in his blog, being a Telenor trainee is a lot about reflecting. So after working in Telenor for three months, what do I think 2008 will bring?  I believe there will be quite some travelling in 2008. As a part of the trainee program we have one gathering every three month. During the trainee period we will have seminars in Kuala Lumpur, Oslo, Stockholm and Budapest.   In two weeks we are going to Kuala Lumpur having seminars together with our coaches with the purpose to grow professionally and personally. I really look forward to see everyone again and sharing experiences with the other trainees.  

The three next months in Business Norway

As I do not know before next week which operating company I will work in from April 1, reflecting on what those six months will bring is obviously challenging (I assume six months in Pakistan would be quite different from e.g Ukraine). Anyway, the following and last three months in Business Norway is quite concrete to reflect upon. I hope for new challenges and to learn more about Telenor’s operations, meet new people, and follow new trends in the market of telecom. I am attending weekly leader meetings for the division of large enterprises, which is a great arena to learn about what happens across the division and in the market.  I am eager to continue on projects and start on new ones. I am also exited to see the result of the different proposals accomplished.
